I will read anything I can get my hands on. Seriously.
Most books I read are reviewed for Harlequin Junkie, but I'll have an occasional independent or author requested review that I'll post.
‘Every night in my dreams, a man appeared from the darkest recesses of my mind, as if he’d been waiting for me to fall asleep. His mouth, full, masculine, would sear my flesh.’
First Grave on the Right was a paranormal/fantasy chock full of so much wonderful snarkiness I was almost giddy the entire time I was reading. Now this is not a new novel, having been released in 2011, but this series is new to me and I have a feeling I will be breezing through the rest of it very soon.
I feel like I must begin this review by saying I am a true fan of paranormal stories with big attitude and a dry sense of humor. I know not everyone out there shares my views, so you might rate this book very differently than I did. That being said, I was seriously impressed with Darynda Jones’ writing style.
