After reading Torn, book two in the Connections series, I couldn’t wait to find out more about Xander and the reason for his brooding demeanor. Author Kim Karr did a fabulous job giving us a complete look at where Xander and Ivy’s relationship started while still keeping us firmly entrenched in the present. And the writing style was so descriptive that I could feel the character’s emotions in each scene, both good and bad.
