I will read anything I can get my hands on. Seriously.
Most books I read are reviewed for Harlequin Junkie, but I'll have an occasional independent or author requested review that I'll post.
What an incredible story, as usual, from Mary Balogh!
A romance such as A Matter of Class is precisely why I know I can pick up any of Balogh's books and I will not regret one moment spent between the pages. The characters here were engaging and realistic. And even though this was a relatively short novel at just over two hundred pages, there was so much depth to the plot that I felt like everything that should have happened and been resolved was handled perfectly.
Balogh's 2009 masterpiece is highly recommended for any historical romance fan out there looking to get swept away for a while.
