I will read anything I can get my hands on. Seriously.
Most books I read are reviewed for Harlequin Junkie, but I'll have an occasional independent or author requested review that I'll post.
The Memory Painter was unlike anything I’ve ever read before. Imaginative, emotional and complex, this was at its core a love story that spanned the better part of ten thousand years. Talk about an epic romance, right?
“Between the beginning and the end, this life is but one moment.”
Trying to explain this story is like trying to explain the movie The Matrix to someone who has never seen it before. It’s something you have to just sit back and experience. A mix of history, romance and science fiction that centers around art and academia, author Gwendolyn Womack created a novel that takes readers on one amazing journey. Just the historical aspect with parts of the story set in Egypt, China, Australia and even Canada, kept me on my toes and held my attention completely.
